The government and the ruling People Power Party announced on Tuesday their plan to enhance AI industry competitiveness.

This includes actively expanding high-performance GPU and other infrastructure while also implementing measures to support talent development.

They also agreed on the need to accelerate the expansion of national AI infrastructure and strengthen the foundation for growth across the AI R&D environment and the overall computing ecosystem.

To achieve this, the government and private sector will collaborate to secure 10-thousand high-performance GPUs within this year and launch the National AI Computing Center services ahead of schedule.
