U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday.

While details of their discussions have not been fully disclosed a statement by the U.S. State Department claimed the meeting quote "reaffirmed their commitment to implementing the ceasefire in Gaza and ensuring the release of all hostages."

Rubio also reportedly touched upon the prospects of greater economic and defense cooperation between their two countries.
