S. Korean markets tumble after Trump's tariffs amp up risk of trade war

And here in South Korea.

The local bourse responded sharply to news of Trump tariffs on U.S. trade partners.

The benchmark KOSPI surrendered 2-point-5 percent to close Monday's session at 2-thousand-4-hundred-53 while the tech-heavy Kosdaq sank 3-point-3 percent to settle at 7-hundred-3.

The Korean won also weakened against the U.S. dollar with the exchange rate ending at 1-thousand-4-hundred-67 won against the greenback.
