More than 10 mil. foreigners visited Seoul in 2024, near pre-pandemic levels

Number of foreigners traveling to Seoul came to well over 10 million people in 2024, returning to the pre-pandemic levels.

According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government on Tuesday, 12-point-1-2 million foreign tourists visited Seoul between January and November last year.

That's only slightly lower than the record high of 12-point-7-4 million recorded during the same period back in 2019.

Seoul city plans to attract 30 million foreign tourists in 2025, with a variety of events including Seoul Festa in the springtime and a barbecue festival in October.
