New wildfire erupts in southern California

A fresh and fast-moving wildfire is spreading through Los Angeles County.

According to local authorities the Hughes fire which was first detected Wednesday morning had consumed over 10-thousand acres of land by Thursday afternoon.

However no structures have been destroyed.

This latest blaze comes just over two weeks after the catastrophic Palisades and Eaton fires in the LA area.
