Passenger traffic at airports across Korea during the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday is expected to surpass 4.4 million.

The daily average is projected to reach nearly 441,700 nationwide, up more than 5% compared to last year.

Incheon International Airport, in particular, is forecasted to see a roughly 13% rise in airport users from a year ago, with the busiest day anticipated to be this Saturday.

During the day, visitors can enjoy games such as kite flying, 'Jegichagi' and 'Yutnori' at the main garden while evening events will offer a chance to view the Blue House's nightscape, as well as a New Year's concert.

Cheongwade was opened to the public in 2022.

An exhibition dedicated to Cattleya orchids will be held from this Friday through February 9 at the Sejong National Arboretum.

Titled "Queen of Orchids," the exhibition will showcase more than 100 varieties of these vibrant and elegant flowers.

Various hands-on programs are in store for visitors next week marking the Lunar New Year holiday, including gardening workshops and a flea market.

Native to tropical rainforests in countries such as Mexico and Brazil, Cattleya orchids are renowned for their large, showy blooms and long-lasting fragrance.
