Following his detention, President Yoon's senior secretaries held a meeting on Sunday to discuss how to move forward as an administration.
In a press statement, the top office pledged support for the government's efforts to effectively manage diplomatic and security affairs, given the evolving international landscape, such as leadership changes in allied nations.
It will also work with the Cabinet to address high exchange and interest rates, and oil prices which affect people's livelihoods.
Chief-of-Staff Chung Jin-suk called on all secretaries to "fulfill their respective roles as public officials to ensure stable governance."
