Rubio says Kim Jong-un uses nuclear weapons to stay in power

U.S. Secretary of State nominee Marco Rubio says North Korea's Kim Jong-un is using nuclear weapons as his "insurance policy" to stay in power.

During his confirmation hearing on Wednesday Rubio depicted Kim as quote a "40-something-year-old dictator" seeking ways to secure "power for the rest of his life". by pursuing nuclear weapons

He further claimed no amount of sanctions would therefore deter Kim from developing nuclear weapons.
