South Korea's central bank held its key interest rate steady on Thursday, as the Korean won remains weak.
It announced the decision following the first monetary policy committee meeting of the year.
The move, keeps the benchmark interest rate unchanged at 3-percent, and comes after two consecutive quarter-point cuts in both the October and November monetary policy meetings last year.
